Ryan Lubbers--Sustainability Director 

Ryan is an experiential educator committed to environmental education and sustainability. He's a teacher wtih Lake Lure Classical Academy and is always looking for new ways to challenge his students. With a Master's in Environmental Studies from Prescott College and over ten years experience in Environmental and Experiential Education, Ryan is excited to be a part of Mountain Roots from the ground up.  
   

Ali Holroyd Lien--Executive Director

Mountain Roots is a dream come true for this adventurer and educator. Ali is an adjunct professor with Brevard College and is a graduate advisor for Prescott College’s Master of Arts Program. Ali’s been an instructor / trip leader with over ten programs on both the east and west coast, including two years as an Americorps volunteer in Kentucky.  Her hobbies and interests include long distance backpacking, rock climbing, pottery, and spending time with her family.
