Mountain Roots provides Outdoor Education programs for schools across western North Carolina. Serving students K-12, facilitating connections to self, others, and the natural world through a range of experiential activities.
Mountain Roots also provides 7 weeks of Day Camp in the Brevard, NC area. Our camps serve campers 4–10 years old. And our Roots Crew program is a middle school leadership development opportunity.
Mission
Mountain Roots is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing discovery and outdoor learning experiences with a focus on environmentally responsible (i.e. sustainable) and community centered living. Offering outdoor education, day camp, and workshops by request, we love taking folks outside to explore and make connections! Join us for an adventurous learning experience!​
