Roots Crew: Rising 7th–9th Grade Volunteers
Roots Crew is a summer leadership development opportunity with Mountain Roots Day Camp. This program is for rising 7th-9th grade students who enjoy being around kids, ages 4-9, and who are excited about exercising their skills as a leader.
This is the perfect leadership development opportunity for responsible teenagers who are interested in learning what it's like to be a camp counselor and who enjoy mentoring younger campers in a fun, nurturing learning environment.
They support Mountain Roots Day Camp counselors in leading outdoor activities and games for preschool and elementary-age campers. Roots Crew members get to assist camp counselors with daily tasks AND participate in the camp experience!
