Bear Country 5k & 10k, 11/15/2025- To Benefit Mountain Roots

The 2025 Bear Country 5k & 10k was an incredible day in Brevard! Runners, families, and volunteers came together on a crisp November morning to enjoy the scenic Brevard greenway and the beautiful mountain views along both courses. Oskar Blues Brewery was the perfect host for the start and finish, adding to the fun, community-focused atmosphere.

The 10k kicked off at 10:00am followed by the 5k at 10:15am, and our youngest participants stole the show during the Kids Cub Crawl. Seeing so many excited kiddos proudly wearing their bibs and ribbons was truly a highlight.

We’re grateful to everyone who came out, supported the event, and helped raise funds for Mountain Roots programs. A huge thank you as well to our volunteers—we couldn’t do it without you!
